Pond & Lake Dredging
Restoring depth and capacity
Over time, leaves, organic matter and sediment build up on the bottom of a pond, gradually making it shallower and reducing the volume of water it can hold. In larger ponds, this can reach a point where conventional cleaning is no longer practical.
Dredging removes this accumulated material, restoring depth and helping bring the pond back into useful condition.

More than simply removing silt
Dredging is often the ideal opportunity to improve other parts of the pond at the same time. Banks can be reshaped, damaged areas repaired, vegetation cleared and depths or profiles adjusted where required.
Our aim is to leave the pond in a better long-term condition, rather than simply removing material and moving on.

The right approach for the site
Every pond is different. Access, bank conditions, water levels, the amount of silt and where the removed material can be placed all influence how the work should be carried out.
We use specialist machinery and plan the work around the site, allowing us to tackle anything from heavily silted private ponds to larger estate and commercial water bodies.
